Coming soon, the Port Fairy Theatre Group is hosting a writer’s workshop facilitated by Megan Twycross – see details below. This is open to members and non-members so if you have ever thought you might be interested in having a go a writing a short play, and perhaps even considered entering one for our Short Play Festival in 2027, come along and be inspired.
We are extremely lucky to have Megan Twycross facilitate this workshop. She is a writer, director and performer and has worked alongside playwrights such as Declan Greene, Lally Katz, Dan Giovannoni, Ross Mueller and Patricia Cornelius. Megan’s play STUCK was selected for the 2026 VCE Drama Playlist and was fully produced as part of the LaMama Presents season in Melbourne.
Holding the event at the Caledonian Hotel (The Stump) will provide an atmospheric location to feed your creativity. We look forward to seeing you there.
